dissent is the beginning of a change

i may not agree with you logic
and you may find me rogue
we may be in disagreement
but that is not the end
alas
that is the beginning
of a conversation
of reasons
of arguments
and of learning from each other
i know i am not absolutely right
and you not absolutely wrong
circumstances have shaped our perception
and it would be a nice to see the other side of the coin
before making a call
at worst i will convince you
at best you will convince me at the end
still if there is a stalemate
we will learn to respect each other
