PART OF GOD III

The crowd
Of common devotees
From all spheres of life
And all part of globe
Clad in dhotis
Stood mesmerized
By the charm of the Preserver
Men fervent with faith
Women blissful in belief
Children clueless
On a humid sultry noon
at gopuram of Padmnabheswaram temple

The Lord was observing
A commercial break
The Nambudri

Displaying his cholesterol saturated potbelly
Proclaimed that the Lord is being fed
(Fed? The spoils of which are devoured by theses
Fat priests and are being added to their plethora of sin as visible obesity).

The devotees
Awaiting eagerly their interview with God
In Serpentine queue
like Shaesnag coiled till eternity
Men
Women
Children
Sweating puffing
Smiling

Take a special ticket
Said a Godly Pimp
If you need to go close to Lord
If you do commit the sin of being not able to buy one
You will be flung to the chaos
Of confusion that prevails
As those sinners like you
Charge to express their devotion
Selflessly
And if you do buy one
Like a royals you will be
Escorted to the ante chamber of lord
For a tet- a- tet

I wondered standing there
If I am blessed with a Million mores
Can I Buy GOD
Entirely for myself

I wonder
Rich
Poor
Priests
In Gods Own country
Who owns god?
