Ma Tara
The up keeper of compassion
I offer to thee my soul
Enlighten it
With the luminosity of your presence
Transform the long shadows of morbidity
Those haunt my soul
Into brightness of bliss of bodhichitta
Make it pure
Like a teardrop
Full of compassion and grace
Teach it the pleasure of giving
And sharing the enlightenment
That comes to it
Propel it towards Bodhisttva
With utmost dedication
Make it strong to suffer the salvation stakes
But fill it with empathy
For those who cause the pain
Inspire my mortal being
For compassion
Lead me onto the path of righteousness
Shown by Tathgat
I pray to the Mother
Come to my heart
And make it your domain
Forever.
